If you are lucky enough to own an Aircraft, what can you do with an eco friendly oil for all your aircrafts needs like Ballistol?
All rubber parts can be treated with Ballistol and in the process it will reduce the ageing effect on the rubber caused by the extreme environmental changes that aircraft experience. The exterior of Aircraft will become dirty especially around the engines and the wheels because of the soot and dust given off in these areas, Ballistol will clean and further protect these areas.
Control surface cables will benefit from Ballistols low surface tension which allows it to creep along cables in hard to reach places and used on all linkage will ensure smooth operation of your control surfaces.
Any leather or wood in the interior of the cabin can also be treated to give the wood a shine and the leather a soft feel.
Ballistol is low in electrical conductivity and is therefore suitable for protecting electrical contacts and it will not attract salt water. Also use a 1 part Ballistol to 10 parts water to wash down the exterior of you aircraft as this will leave a very thin coating which will inhibit dirt from attaching to the outer shell.
